The Objective:

The client approached us with an innovative football coaching planner concept and needed a compelling brand identity to bring it to market. The goal was to create a sleek, modern brand that reflected motion, organization, and the dynamic nature of football coaching. Additionally, the product itself required a unique, functional design to enhance its usability for coaches in training sessions and matches.

The Plan:

  1. Brand Development & Naming:
    • We conceptualized and developed the brand name The Jottr, a short, punchy name that captures the essence of quick note-taking and on-the-go planning.
    • Designed a sleek, modern monogram logo with the ‘jtr’ letters, integrating a sense of movement and a subtle nod to folded paper—highlighting the product’s connection to notebooks and note-taking.
  2. Product Design & Development:
    • We refined the coaching planner concept, introducing a desk pad with removable pages that could be folded into compact, easy-to-carry sheets for training sessions.
    • The planner’s layout was designed to complement the folding structure, ensuring that each section remained functional and easy to use in various coaching scenarios.

The final branding and product design for The Jottr combined innovation with practicality. The bright and dynamic color palette gave the brand a contemporary and energetic feel, while the monogram logo reinforced its sleek, professional image. The integration of the folded paper concept within the branding and product design made The Jottr stand out in the coaching industry, providing a practical and visually striking solution for football coaches.
